It’s been a big week at TreeHouse.  The long-anticipated “big move” from Brighton was this week–we brought over about ten new animals (with more to come tomorrow, so I’ll have more about that at the end of the week) not to mention truckloads of cages and other supplies.  In addition, on Monday we were all deeply saddened to lose our 20-year resident bobcat, Tigger.  But in a strange twist of fate, today, only two days after we said goodbye to Tigger, we received a bobcat that was hit by a car just outside Belleville.  She has a concussion, but no broken bones, and she is in serious but stable condition at TreeHouse in Brighton.  The story has evidently been picked up by the media, and we were getting calls all day from the Belleville News Democrat and News Channels 4 and 5.  Apparently, we have a new celebrity!
